Nominated Albums for the "Preis der deutschen Schallplattenkritik" Longlist
We’re proud that two of our recent releases have been nominated for the "Preis der Deutschen Schallplattenkritik" Longlist:
Sofia Gubaidulina’s Galgenlieder á 3 and Klaus Lang’s tönendes licht. Gubaidulina’s hauntingly witty settings of Christian Morgenstern’s texts highlight her unique vocal and instrumental language, while Lang’s work offers a deeply immersive sound world shaped by quiet intensity and precise sonic detail.

Its Coup de Cœur award highlights outstanding works that resonate deeply with the academy’s members, celebrating emotional impact over commercial success.
Ernst von Siemens Stiftung - Förderpreis Komposition 2018
The Ernst von Siemens Composers’ Prize is one of the most esteemed honors for emerging voices in contemporary music. Selected by an international jury, the award supports outstanding young composers with funding, visibility, and artistic development. As part of the prize, each winner receives a portrait album produced by the foundation and released on the label KAIROS.
To accompany this release, the Ernst von Siemens Music Foundation has created a short film in which Oriol Saladrigues’ spoken reflections form the very heart of this memorable and contemplative work — offering rare insight into his creative world and the music that emerges from it.
